Want Want Futures Project: Return of Bolivia

Back from Bolivia, here are photos of the project Envy Future of 2008. Our objectives were completed:

-school supplies collected during the months preceding the trip (thank you to individuals, and the Department of Classics of the NHI) were much appreciated. They will (have already used) activities and the AVE project of academic support.

-audiovisual equipment is purchased (a camera, a video projector, computer, accessories) and will intensify the NGO projects: for example, children can now watch their production directly to the scene of activities (which are usually at work) with the laptop.

-School Support Project will help reintegrating child forty (purchase of specific books and supplies that families can not afford)

 Want Futures project was born during the summer of 2007, for reasons 
 cultural and personal interest, a desire to act 
 three students of the NHI to the Bolivian population. After an extensive study of 
 context and life situation in Bolivia 
 we realized that a real need existed in assistance to child workers, 
 often forgotten in international solidarity actions. 
 forced to work for various reasons, the most disadvantaged children are 
 quickly dropped out, abused by adults and lose all hope of a better future 
. This is a meeting with the NGO Audiovisuales 
 Educativos (AVE) in Cochabamba, Bolivia which has enabled us to realize our desire 
 investment. 
 
 By joining the association Insaïenne Students Without Borders 
 we could build a concrete project. For more than eight months we have received numerous 
 Grants and aid individuals. A trip has been planned for so 
 April 2008, to provide school supplies 
 and provide the necessary purchases activities AVE.
