Internship Music Performance Romance Speak confidently in public

An internship through the Academy-Festival in the Abbey Caunes Minervois Music organized by the association and soil.

Week Musicale de Caunes-Minervois, Academy-Festival, is not an internship as
others. Our approach aims to bring together forty musicians, strings, woodwinds and piano, singing, music enthusiasts and advanced level, to live together, with the complicity of their teachers, the ten scheduled concerts.
Our goal is to provide each student selected the option to live within the life of a music festival as a professional musician. Indeed, in a week, he will chain several different programs, acquiring other musical reflexes, like an artist on tour. Each group of Chamber Music Academy consists of trainees and guest soloists, which makes an ideal preparation for concerts.
order to guarantee every participant a thorough job that allows him to tackle many types of repertoire during the festival period, the number of trainees is limited for each instrumental family.
Our musical adventure also offers the opportunity to participate together in an original musical creation, in close collaboration with composer Toulouse Jean-Philippe Bec, in residence throughout the week.
Romantic music is the cornerstone of our programming in places that highlight the rich cultural heritage and history of the Minervois, each concert aimed at a broad audience. In Pays d'Aude
at the foot of Black Mountain overlooking the plain of the Minervois, the ancient city of Caunes is nestled around its Benedictine Abbey. Its old narrow streets meander between old traditional houses, while the surrounding countryside, vineyards, scrubland, forests, quarries of marble, offers the visitor many treasures which joins the past to the present.

Academy-Festival gives students the opportunity to host a festival called Off "Open Scenes", from Tuesday to Friday from 17:30 to 18:30.
These four one-hour programs are free, but in connection with the festival program.
Proposals musical will be reviewed by the teaching team on the eve of the open stage tomorrow.
Each trainee will have a badge giving access to all musical events.
